Read a book.
I hope people don't think that just because the Internet is now everyone's favorite source for information that books are no longer useful or relevant. I definitely beg to differ. As the old adage says, "reading is fundamental".
I've decided that every month I'm going to go to the library and pick out some choice non-fiction to help me master my craft. I'm not really a fan of fictional black literature like many of my peers. I'm trying to be a millionaire--that stuff doesn't do anything for me.
So here's a list of the books I'm reading this month. I've taken the liberty of linking the images to Amazon, but if you know any black-owned book sellers that carry non-African-American themes such as these, let me know and I'll support them!
