  • Politics Is Like Hiring A Hitman
    by Scott Woods inPolitical on2020-08-13

For me, politics is like hiring a hitman. I have values and things I care about. I care enough about them to at least bother voting for 5 minutes every year for one issue or another. And because I care at least that much, I vote for people who align with the ability to realize the things I care about.

I believe our vote is the punctuation of our voice. Without that resounding exclamation mark, I believe our voices are just incoherent noise.

by Roger Madison Jr. inPolitical on2020-06-16

Recent events have raised the profile of historical injustice and inequities here in the USA. The entire world has taken note of the fact that BLACK LIVES MATTER.   We invite all of our friends to engage in actions that result in the greatest movement for change in our history. It is imperative that we take advantage of this opportunity to affect a positive change by ACTING IN OUR SELF-INTERESTS.

  • Living in a Black No-Man's Land
by Roger Madison Jr. inOur Community on2019-10-28

There are many narratives that define the Black experience in America in this 2nd decade of the 21st century. Our striving over the centuries of our sojourn in this nation is a tapestry of every human experience -- oppression, enslavement, forced assimilation, dehumanization, exclusion, segregation, isolation, struggle, perseverance, achievement, excellence, celebration, mourning, despair, progress, setbacks, lynching, assassination, genocide, terror, self-hatred, low esteem, pride,...

  • Fighting Racism
by Scott Woods inOur Community on2018-10-25

I had a boss who was racist. Not an outright bigot, of course; her toolbox was more subtle than most. We bumped heads a lot over inconsequential things. She frequently couldn’t keep my name out her mouth. Lot of gaslighting. You know…2018 style. I tried a lot of ways to combat or navigate her issues. None of them worked, and that’s saying a lot because I’m really good at fighting racism. But at the end of the day – every day – she was my boss, I had to deal with her, and that was that. Finally I...

I QUIT - MWALIMU KABAILA

I QUIT! - MWALIMU KABAILA

"If IYPAD gets a Board of Directors I will consider coming back."
Mwalimu Kabaila

DEAR BLACK AMERICA 2011 AND BEYOND

IYPAD is loaded with truth, knowledge, high drama, Corporate coups, hostile takeovers and all the Corporate fascination and attraction you have come to expect from watching white Americas Corporate drama on the high seas.

This is not your usual blacks can't get along, so I quit escapade and these are definitely not your usual meatball on the grill personality types.

All of the individuals involved are high powered profiles. You are witnessing real time black America Corporate drama for direction and control.

IYPAD has passed the point of no return. This is a crucial junction for IYPAD.

IYPAD will move towards progression or disintegration depending on who does or does not do their function at the junction because for sure they are all in the same car.

If IYPAD moves to disintegration then someone must take the blame. If IYPAD moves to progression someone must be given the credit.

....And so far Shaka Barak has been overthrown, Mwalimu Kabaila , has resigned, Roosevelt King is threatening legal action and Diane Urban is the last one standing and pushing forward by posting announcements, upcoming events and lobbying for agriculture volunteers.

By resigning Black America Corporate IYPAD because you object to IYPAD not having a board of Directors is something you can fix or over come but no matter which way the wind blows Diane has always rolled with you, had your back and has never bailed on you.

My unsolicited advice for brother Mwalimu Kabaila is to get back in the car. Don't bail because you can't figure out a plan to get around IYPAD needing a board of directors in place.

If you want IYPAD to have a board of directors then appoint them, give them their duties and enforce your mandate. Start a new faction if you must because you are Corporate IYPAD.

When the two of you decided to overthrow Shaka then you became the man. You became the face of IYPAD You are the man.

When you and Diane left Shaka the two of you have worked well together. You need her and she needs you because Diane Urban is not the Corporate face nor side of IYPAD.

From the moves that Diane makes Diane is clearly a dedicated soldier and a super team player and right now she is a soldier, a team player and she is doing your job holding down the corporate side of IYPAD by doing the jobs of management and personnel.

Mwalimu Kabaila, Roosevelt King and Diane Urban you are all in the same car and each one have a function at the junction.

You need only to assert confidence and present your self with Corporate leadership and Corporate Commanding Authority...but alas...

In real time the Black America Corporate World of Black Interprise is abuzz with the news that the Corporate head and face of IYPAD Mwalimu Kabaila committed corporate suicide today by jumping out of a moving organization at high speed because he could not figure out that he was the driver of IYPAD and as a soldier and team play Diane Urban was his chauffeur driving him into the future.

"Go ahead and hurt your neighbor, go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of heaven you can justify it in the end but there won't be any trumpets blowing on your judgement day and the bloody morning after one lone IYPAD member walks away."
Billy Jack

Diane Urban is: THE BALLAD OF A SOLDIER.
