Since the very beginning as we know it, there has been an ongoing discussion about eggs, which I will not give way to here. On the other hand, I do wish to discuss the symbolism given to eggs in relation to business. Are you at all familiar with the adage; "Don't put all your eggs in one basket"? I am sure you are and how much time have you spent thinking about it? Consciously or unconsciously, you have come to accept that it means a number of things and among them are; protective packaging, caution, to diversify, be guarded, slow with your what you reveal to others and the list goes on. All of the items on the list however, reflect the need to respect the fragility of the egg and its content. Once cracked, the contents are at the peril of the world and if accidental, could most certainly mean ruin and disappointment. Better then, that the egg be treated with due respect and opened only under circumstances that reflect anticipation and preparation; a certain tenderness if you will, and an expectation that the tenderness required to protect will bring forth greater good. So when one does not put all eggs in the same basket, it is all about protection for what is to come. Your business deserves the same types of concern. It is imperative that you learn to husband your business, so as to protect its fragility and guard against its unexpected exposure to forces that could lead to its untimely demise. There is much, much more to know and you can access it all by following the instructions in the following paragraph.
