In September, 1965, Cosby Landed The Role Of Alexander "Scotty" Scott On The Television Series, I Spy. He Became The First Black Actor To Star In A Network Dramatic Series, And Subsequently, The First To Win An Emmy Award (He Won A Total Of Three For His Role On That Show).

On I Spy, Cosby Played A Rhodes Scholar Who Masqueraded As A Trainer To A Tennis Pro (Robert Culp). The Show Followed Two Undercover Agents On Their Escapades Around The World.

In 1969 - 1970, He Starred As Chet Kincaid, A High School Gym Teacher, On The Bill Cosby Show.

Bill Cosby Became A More Familiar Face To America During The 1970's. He Made Three Feature Films With Good Friend Sidney Poitier, Uptown Saturday Night, A Piece Of The Action And Let's Do It Again. He Also Starred In Mother Juggs And Speed And California Suite.

He Created The Popular, Eductaional Saturday Morning Cartoon, Fat AlbertAnd The Cosby Kids. He Further Demonstrated His Committment To Education By Earning His Doctorate From The University Of Massachusetts And Using His Creative Talents And Celebrity To Teach Children, As Part Of The Essamble Cast Of The PBS Show, The Electric Company.

In Between Film And TV Shows, Cosby Was A Highly Recruited Spokesman For Products Like Jell-O Pudding, Kodak Film, Coca-Cola And Service Merchandise.

From 1984 To 1992, Cosby Became One Of America's Most Successful Television Stars, While Playing Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable On The Cosby Show. One Of The Highest Rated Sitcoms In History, The Cosby Show, Is Credited With Helping NBC Rise To The Number One Spot In Television Ratings, And Set The Stage For A Host Television Sitcoms About Family Life.
