My Sunday School Lesson Bible Reading for the week of April 21, 2013 is coming from the Books of Isaiah, Psalm/Tehillim, Romans Hebrews, and I Thessalonians.

I know that I am in my sharing this week 1 of 2 Lesson Scriptures for those who like to read ahead - but since the tragedy happened this week in the U.S. it threw me off..... I am praying and will continue to pray.

Sunday - April 21, 2013 - Encourage One Another with Hope - I Thessalonians 4:13-5:11

The Parousia (Second coming of Christ - Parousia)

Isaiah Chapters 49-57, the prophecy of the servant of Jehovah, his sufferings and glory.

Isaiah received the prophetic call in the last year of King Uzziah's reign (Isaiah 6:1), and prophesied during the reigns of three kings, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah (Isaiah 1:1).

Psalm/Tehillim 38 .... Classified on account of sin written by King David.

Romans 4:16-25 .... Romans 15:7-13 .... Doctrinal - righteousness by faith.

The letter to the Romans is a theological treatise rather than a letter.

The apostle Paul is he writer of Romans. It is written in Greek, because it was most familiar to his readers and the apostle Paul could also write in Greek.

I Thessalonians 4:13-5:11 .... I & II Thessalonians is probably the earliest Christian document that has come down to us. The apostle Paul wrote the First Epistle from Corinth, in the names of himself, Silas, and Timothy, late in 52 or early in 53.

I Thessalonians 4:1-5:22 .... advice and comfort, because of the triumph in the resurrection.
