(TPWG ) Michelle Mitchell the founder of The Phenomenal Women Group, Inc., believes that etiquette is something that everyone should participate in. The rules of simple courtesy will uplift, enhance and motivate one's self. The role of etiquette has changed over the years. At one time, it served as an indicator of each person's proper station in life. Today, etiquette helps smooth the path of our daily activities, whether it's meeting others in our daily interactions, talking to someone on the phone, offering condolences properly or understanding how to talk to colleagues at a business conference, going on a job interview.

The Phenomenal Women Group is one of those "best kept secrets". Making rounds in the networking arena and virtual space. It all formulated when we noticed when attending networking events, although there were men and women attendees, the majority of the participants were approaching males. Most people who participate in those events go right up to the man in the three-piece suit. Even when walking down the street, we noticed that men would give each other the "Hello" nod. But we women would walk right by each other with our noses up in the air, or just not acknowledging each other at all. We just got fed up. We felt this behavior needed to stop.
