Trapped!

When you're working hard and nothing is coming in, you ask yourself what’s the reason? Someone once told me that favor is not fair and to just be patient for my time will come. I’d already been an entrepreneurial success and wondered if I could do it again. When caught in the tunnel of trial and error exits are always positioned too far in either direction. Being trapped forces action to ooze from your intuition.

Employee or entrepreneur your best must always become better just to keep up. To defy the norm, you move with an even swifter pace. For nearly seven years I focused on technology awareness among youth. I was convinced there was a need, but I was stalled in the tunnel. To move I had to first build trust with myself. Allowing the potential client to identify the problem, disconnect and solution came second. It worked better — made them feel smarter.

This two step process eventually revealed my loss of momentum. Made a note to self. Self, don’t ignore the ripples that appear during the sales and/or implementation process. In trial and error you keep pushing and pulling until you feel a slight rocking motion. Assault the tremors before they become cracks. This attentive and vigorous effort, this maniacal focus will more often than not inoculate you from danger. It’s Monday -- let’s keep it moving!
