For all others, be certain that I have something for you as well. On the job, at least once, your display of emotion was considered a bit over the top. Bad or good is of no relevance. The point here is that you lost it and someone saw it. Now what? You’re looking over your cubicle, (that’s what), wondering who in your office is reading this Monday Mover thinking about the last time a peer just showed off in the office! I hope it wasn’t you - never good.
The fact of the matter is that reality is a courageous constant that snatches our emotions without concern or warning. ALWAYS consider the ramifications of your display. Whether academic or plain speak, the message ends up being the same. So long as file cabinets and jump drives exist, your antics are lying in wait to tell another version of the story. Deliver measured emotions. Consider no emotion as a possibility. I too have been called out my name. It’s Monday — bare witness — let’s keep it moving!
