Teaching Philosophy: ...theory, music appreciation, breath control, tone placement, diction, as well as some dietary concerns, all precede the ability to truly being, not just a singer, but an instrument! Unlike drums, horns, or guitars, etc...voice is the only wholly internal musical instrument!!!! Why is it not an event of the Olympics? Only Voice can achieve truly, uncompromised, independent expression. I seek to hear and guide all to their independent voice. If your aspirations are professional, I'll tell you if I hear a foundation. Then, as we define the instrument in you, we will explore the voice of you. That means the mechanics along side various genre. Your study might benefit from close examination of classical music as you learn theory. Your personal development might require an exercise of rock music in development of your ear.
