Trial and Error Tightrope

I started this series on trial and error with a strong one liner from a Baltimore Blogger (Dahgurl) and followed up with a quick piece about being stuck in a tunnel.  This series has caused several readers to weigh in with personal stories.  Some have even expressed a desire to excoriate peers that fail to appreciate their efforts.

Remember, in all we do, our goal is to harass mediocrity.  One should not tire oneself looking for reward because of expended effort.  A focus on output is what gives successful people the room to roam.  To understand trial and error is to:

Build integrity into your efforts (admin duties, cold calling, presentation, program design, teaching, etc.)
Start eliminating unneeded efforts by making quicker decisions and delivering greater results more efficiently
Allow velocity to attack the backlog of thoughts/dormant dreams – making way for new and more powerful concepts

I’ve learned to accept trial and error.  I’ve also always had faith.  Next week this series comes to a close.  I might use a controversial figure as an example.  Hint: twenty million and a potential new deal!  It’s Monday — walk with me — let’s keep it moving!
